NYHA Board Establishes the Dues for the 2009-2010 Season
At this point in the season, we have most of our costs determined and membership numbers. With that, at the October Board meeting, the Board established the dues that each member needs to pay.
Join the 650+ players who have chosen Novi Youth Hockey for their hockey experience. The NYHA offers players born from 2004 to 1991 an opportunity to learn and compete at one of the area's premier hockey facilities - Novi Ice Arena. The NYHA welcomes players from all neighboring communities. We are a community-based, volunteer-governed, nonprofit organization designed to offer a structured, educational, and cost-effective hockey experience.
NYHA House players within the Mini-Mite and Mite divisions play teams within Novi and neighboring associations. House players from the Squirt division and older all play in the famed Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League (LCAHL). We regularly play teams from neighboring rinks. All MiniMite players compete in cross ice games; all other divisions play full ice games. Squirt/Peewee house players have averaged 60+ hours in the past while Bantam/Midget players have averaged more than 70 hours of NYHA ice time plus 7-10 hours of away game ice at other arenas through LCAHL games - an outstanding hockey value and family experience. All NYHA Travel players compete in the LCAHL.
